Enzo Amore Says That Ronda Rousey Coming To WWE Will Be A 'Rude Awakening'
For the past few years, discussions of Ronda Rousey joining WWE have been plentiful. At WrestleMania 31 in Santa Clara, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon had a segment that involved the Rock. During the segment, Stephanie would slap Rock, which prompted him to go over to the crowd and bring Rousey into the ring. This led to a physical altercation from Rousey to both Stephanie and Triple H, which heightened speculation that a WWE deal is near.
Since then, TMZ has caught up with Stephanie McMahon on two occasions regarding Rousey to the WWE. The first time, Stephanie stated that she hopes to bring her in the WWE, and she's "gotta get her back" for what she did at WrestleMania 31. The second time, Stephanie stated, "the offer still stands; we'd love to have you in WWE."
We recently reported that TMZ caught Triple H and Rousey meeting for dinner. The timing increases speculation that she could be a participant in the first-ever women's Royal Rumble match in Philadelphia.
TMZ also caught up with WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore about Rousey possibly coming to WWE, as seen above.
"She's in for a rude awakening," said Enzo. "I mean, MMA is MMA, I'm not hating on MMA whatsoever. Respect what they do so much. You ever been put through a table, slammed on concrete? It's a different ball game."
Enzo added that Rousey would translate quite well from MMA to WWE, and Rousey respects WWE enough to know that it is going to be hard.
