News On When Chris Jericho Will Face Tetsuya Naito, WWE Title Holder Wrestling IWGP Champion, AXS TV
- Above is a preview for this Friday's episode of NJPW on AXS, which will feature the first-ever fourway match in NJPW from last week's Wrestle Kingdom 12 event where Will Ospreay won the the IWGP Jr Heavyweight Championship against KUSHIDA, Hiromu Takahashi and then-champion Marty Scurll. Friday's show will also feature The Young Bucks defeating Roppongi 3k for the IWGP Jr Tag Team Championship from last week's event.
- It was noted on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that the working idea is to have the Chris Jericho vs. Tetsuya Naito at the upcoming NJPW USA: Strong Style Evolved show on March 25th in Long Beach, California at the Walter Pyramid. Jericho had attacked Naito at New Year's Dash this past Friday. As noted, tickets for USA: Strong Style Evolved will go on sale on January 29th at 1pm ET / 10am PT and range from $50 to $200.
- IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay will be facing WWE U.K. Champion Pete Dunne at the upcoming IPW show on January 17th in Milton Keynes. Ospreay noted on Twitter that it may be the first time that a WWE title holder and an IWGP champion will be in the ring at the same time, as seen below:
