Big Update On Who Is The Current Head Of The WWE Performance Center
Triple H confirmed on today's NXT conference call that Matt Bloom is still the head of the WWE Performance Center, refuting reports that Shawn Michaels had taken over that role. Kevin Nash had appeared on The Kevin Gill Show earlier this week and had stated that Michaels became the new head of the WWE Performance Center and moved to Florida for the job.
"Oh yeah, he's [Michaels] moving to Florida with the family and everything," Nash said. "If you thought that NXT was something wait til that son of a b—h gets down there and gives them his magic. There is nobody better than him. Physically nobody better. Psychology nobody better. It's going to be a game changer. I don't know what the hell they are paying him but it's got to be a lot because to get Shawn to do the 9-5."
Triple H noted that there are plans for Michaels to be involved with the Performance Center and it's fluid, but he does have other projects going on. He noted that if he could pick an area that he felt that Michaels could really contribute, it would be to put the polish on a performer that's almost at the level of being a star.
