Goldberg On If WWE Offered More Than One Match, Hugging Vince McMahon After RAW Promo, His Return

Recently on Heated Conversations: Hosted By Booker T, WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T interviewed Bill Goldberg about his return to WWE. During the conversation, Goldberg talked about how returning to WWE is a huge risk for him, hugging WWE Chairman Vince McMahon after his return promo, and whether he will wrestle again after WWE Survivor Series.

Goldberg claimed that he is experiencing "a myriad of emotions" and is taking a huge risk by returning to WWE after a 12-year absence; however, he joked that his last match in WWE should not be too difficult to live up to.

"Granted, there is a little bit of me that always wanted to come back and do my thing, but that really pales in comparison to the reason I've chosen to do it. I mean, I'm taking a huge risk, bro, [Booker T knows] that, in many, many ways. Well, first of all, I have to live up to the standard of my last match, which shouldn't be too difficult. There's a lot to take into consideration, dude. Am I going to be able to do it physically? Am I going to be big enough? Am I going to be strong enough? Am I going to break something, pull something, tear something? Am I going to be able to do the things that I used to do? I mean, the list is a million things long. But, hey, dude, I don't have a problem with obstacles."

Apparently, Goldberg embraced McMahon after his return to WWE Monday Night RAW.

"I've had some issues with them. Everybody has. But, I can tell you, once I went through 'Gorilla' [position] after I delivered a promo that I didn't think I had the ability to do, with the help of a lot of people, I gave him an embrace I never thought I'd be giving and it was one of appreciation that he gave me the opportunity to be that guy again."

According to Goldberg, he has a one-shot deal with WWE and that is how he is treating it. The two-time world champion said he would be open to doing more in professional wrestling after the upcoming WrestleMania 20 rematch.

"I'm treating it as [a one-shot deal], man. That's what they offered. That's what I accepted. If they wanted more, they would have offered more. So I took the offer when it came to a mutual decision, which I believe was mutually positive for everybody involved. Dude, I treat it was such. I have a one-match contract and I'm taking it like the last match of my career. And the minute after the match is over, I won't bask in it. I'll think about what's next. If it's anything else in the wrestling world, I'll consider that. If not, hey, man, it's not like I've been looking for something to do the last 12 years by any means."
