Thanks to Wrestling Inc. reader Brett Duplisea for sending in this report for last night's WWE live event in Bangor, ME

Dasha Fuentes served as ring announcer, while Mike Rome hyped the crowd.

Golden Truth (Goldust & R-Truth) def. Breezango (Tyler Breeze & Fandango) via pinfall
This was a very enjoyable comedy match to start off the show. R-Truth hit a sunset flip on Tyler Breeze to get the win.

Titus O'Neil def. Heath Slater
The match was stopped as Heath Slater got busted open early in the match, much to fans displeasure. Titus O'Neil was declared the winner.

Sasha Banks def. Summer Rae via submission
Summer Rae came out to the worst reaction of the night, while Sasha Banks got one of the better ones. This was a very quick match that was mostly dominated by Sasha, who hit the Banks Statement on Summer Rae to get the submission victory.

Intercontinental Championship
Darren Young w/Bob Backlund def. The Miz (c) w/Maryse via Disqualification

Before the match, The Miz cut a promo about being the Intercontinental Champion and saying that some of the greatest technical wrestlers have held the belt, name dropping Bret "The Hitman" Hart, Mr. Perfect and Shawn Michaels, each receiving big pops. However, The Miz would go on to say that he is the champion now, which makes him the greatest technical wrestler of all time. The match itself was very enjoyable with a few very near finishes, including The Miz hitting Skull Crushing Finale on Darren Young who just barely kicked out. Part-way through the match Maryse pretended Bob Backlund slapped her in the face, resulting in him being thrown out. The end of the match came when Maryse grabbed a hold of Young's leg in view of the referee resulting in The Miz being disqualified. After the match, The Miz bragged that he was still the Intercontinental Champion before being laid out by Darren Young with the Gut Check. Darren Young posed with the Intercontinental title afterwords.

Big Show & Kane def. The Vaudevillians (Aiden English & Simon Gotch) via pinfall
This was pretty much a squash match with Big Show dominating most of the match. The finish of the match came when Kane and Big Show both hit Chokeslams on The Vaudevillians, with Kane getting the pin for the win. Post match, Big Show apparently got in a minor altercation with a fan that was resolved by security.

Charlotte w/Dana Brooke def. Alicia Fox via pinfall
This was a pretty decent women's match, being both fast-paced and athletic. There were a lot of "We Want Sasha" chants throughout the match. The finish came when Charlotte missed a moonsault, which aloud Alicia Fox to hit the Scissors Kick, however Dana Brooke would distract the referee and Fox, which aloud Charlotte to roll up Fox with her feet on the rope for the win.

Enzo Amore & Cass def. The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray & D-Von) via pinfall
Enzo Amore & Cass came out to the biggest reaction of the night, behind Sami Zayn. The duo cut their usual promo before the match, however before Cass could spell out SAWFT, The Dudley Boyz came out and interrupted. The match itself was mostly The Dudley Boyz talking smack, while tossing around Enzo. Enzo would get the hot tag to Cass, which received a huge pop. Cass would made quick work of The Dudleys before tagging Enzo back in who would hit Air Enzo for the win. After the match Cass called The Dudley Boyz "SAWFT!"

Main Event: United States Championship Fatal-4-Way Match
Rusev (c) w/Lana def. Kalisto, Sami Zayn & Cesaro via submission

Kalisto entered the ring first, followed by Cesaro who got a good pop and then Sami Zayn who got the loudest reaction of the night. Lana came out next and introduced Rusev calling him "America's Hero." Rusev then entered to a bad reaction. The match was amazing! One of the best I've ever saw and definitely deserved to be put in the main event spot. The action was fast-paced from the begin with Kalisto, Sami Zayn and Cesaro exchanging pins at the very beginning. Cesaro also performed a Tower of Doom on Rusev, Kalisto and Zayn. Rusev would also get a bit of dominance in the match over the smallest member Kalisto. There were a lot of "USA" chants throughout the match, which at one point cause Lana to grab the mic and say that there were no Americans in the match. The highlight of the match came when Kalisto when for a high risk move on Cesaro, only for Cesaro to reverse into the European Uppercut. Cesaro also hit The Cesaro Swing on Rusev for about 6 seconds. Towards the end of the match, Lana was thrown out of the match after getting in the ring and arguing with the referee after Rusev failed to put Zayn away with the Superkick. The finish of the match came when Rusev applied the Accolade to Kalisto and practically bended him in half. After the match, Rusev continued to beatdown Kalisto before Cesaro and Sami Zayn made the save. Kalisto, Cesaro and Zayn would then team up and hit a triple powerbomb on Rusev. The trio then danced in the ring to each others music, sending the fans home happy.

I was generally surprised by how good the show was, considering most of WWE's big name stars were in MSG, but all the talent performed exactly including the participants in the Main Event, which was by far the match of the night!
