Brock Lesnar Talks UFC 200 Victory, What's Next, Being A Bully, Having The Most Fun "In A Long Time"
As seen in the video above, Brock Lesnar discussed his unanimous decision victory over Mark Hunt at the UFC 200 post-fight press conference. Below are some highlights:
* Lesnar wanted to make one thing clear, and that's "Brock Lesnar does what Brock Lesnar wants to do." He said that his future for the next month is laid out with his match against Randy Orton at SummerSlam. After that, Lesnar said that he doesn't know what he's going to do, but he had "one hell of a time tonight."
* He wasn't sure if Mark Hunt landed his best shots or not, but the mystery's gone as to whether he could take a punch. He noted that he returned on somewhat short notice after a 5-year absence and thanked his team for making it possible. He said that Hunt "never knocked the f-ck" out of him and "here I am."
* Lesnar admitted that he had a lot of nerves heading into the fight, but that you have to keep an open mind. He said that MMA is 90% mental and if you put the work in, good things will happen. He said that he hadn't had that much fun "in a long time."
* Lesnar said that he liked being a bully – not necessarily picking on anyone – but getting dirty and not turning down fights. He said his mom would chew his ass and said that if he's going to fight, he might as well earn some money at it. Lesnar said that when he decided to make his comeback, it was a tough decision, but "if you don't stick your neck out, you're never going to get ahead" and he's not scared to stick his neck out.
