Bret Hart On Why He Is Working WWE Payback, Chyna Not Being The Same After Triple H Breakup, More
WWE Hall of Famer Bret "The Hitman" Hart was in the U.K. for a series of Q&A shows last week. While he was in Nottinghamshire last Friday, he spoke to Iain Chambers of Notts TV News and talked about appearing at WWE Payback this Sunday in Natalya's corner in her match against WWE Women's Champion Charlotte.
Hart said that the only reason he was making the appearance was for his niece, Natalya. He did admit that he was looking forward to being there with his old rival, Ric Flair, who will be in Charlotte's corner.
"Ric Flair is an old nemesis of mine," Hart said. "I find myself smiling or chuckling at whatever the antics [will be]. Whatever happens will be entertaining... It will be good for both of us, Ric and I, [we] are old rivals that have had a lot of words go back and forth over the years, but we also have a lot of respect for each other. I guess I look forward to his antics, and I always get a kick out of his schtick."

"The Hitman" was also asked about the passing of Chyna, and specifically if she should be in the WWE Hall of Fame. Hart said that Chyna should "absolutely" be in the Hall of Fame, and noted that she kicked the door for women in the business, possibly more than anyone else. Hart said that despite Chyna's issues over the years, she was one of the nicest people you'd meet and she had a heart of gold. He said that he feld bad for how her life turned out, and said that she never seemed to get over her falling out with Triple H.
"Her career and everything went into the toilet at the same time," Hart said. "She's definitely a tragic story in wrestling and it's a shame that we lost her so soon."
Bret also discussed the current WWE product, Shane McMahon having no right to be in the ring at WrestleMania, Goldberg ending his career and more. You can check out the full interview by clicking here.
