Conor McGregor Announces Retirement?, Coach Comments
In a post that has shocked the mixed martial arts world, and left many scratching their heads, UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor has teased his retirement on Twitter. He posted the following this afternoon:
I have decided to retire young.
Thanks for the cheese.

McGregor, who is 27 years old, is currently scheduled to face Nate Diaz in a rematch at UFC 200 in July. McGregor is among the top money earners in mixed martial arts history.
MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani is saying that the tweets aren't a joke. Also, McGregor's coach John Kavanagh commented.
Multiple sources are adamant at this time that McGregor's tweet isn't a joke, troll job or hoax of any kind. Reason(s) behind it is unclear.
