Demetrious Johnson And Henry Cejudo Not Happy About UFC Putting Title Shot On TUF 24
Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson and Henry Cejudo are both decorated athletes and champions. The two will also meet in the cage next Saturday at UFC 197 to determine Flyweight supremacy.
Johnson has been a dominant Flyweight champion, the only one in UFC history, while Cejudo looks to be the first Olympic Gold Medalist to win a UFC title. However earlier this month, the UFC announced that The Ultimate Fighter 24 would determine a contender later this year. Well, before they pumped their brakes on it. The champion Johnson, who found out while on a video game stream, says he wasn't worried.
"I'm not really focused on that, I'm focused on Henry Cejudo," Johnson told Wrestling Inc on the UFC 197 media call. "But that's fantastic. From my memory, they may have canceled the show. It is what is is. The UFC is going to do what they want."

Cejudo, who has earned a title shot in just 16 months, said that he wasn't fond of the idea. Cejudo went 4-0 in the UFC, including one fight at bantamweight before finally being granted a title opportunity.
"I think it's kind of crazy, kind of funny," Cejudo said of the decision. "There's a lot of people that are up and coming in the Flyweight division. I think it's crazy to bring people in and one of them gets a title shot. There's a bunch of tough 125 pounders that haven't fought Demetrious or myself. I think it's crazy."
Demetrious Johnson and Henry Cejudo will do battle in the co-main event of UFC 197: Jones vs. OSP next Saturday. Wrestling Inc will provide you full, live coverage of the event. You can hear Johnson and Cejudo's comments above in the video player, or below in the audio player.
