Former WWE Writer On What He Thinks The Rock Will Be Doing At WrestleMania 32, WaleMania 2
We're ten days out from WrestleMania 32 in Dallas, and one of the biggest names on the show in The Rock, still has no solidified role as far as viewers know. However, there are some theories as to what he'll be doing.
Former WWE writer Court Bauer, who now works with AAA and Lucha Underground spoke to myself and Raj Giri yesterday, said that he thinks The Rock will be involved in the New Day / League of Nations match.
"I think it's going to be a New Day for the Rock. I think he's going to help those guys out, because they're a man short on that deal, and I think it's a cool way to give those guys a rub," Bauer told Wrestling Inc.
Bauer said that the spot isn't certain yet, and The Rock could very well end up being inserted into the Hell in a Cell or WWE World Heavyweight Championship matches on the show as well.
"I might be wrong and he might run in during Hell in a Cell and help sway the future of WWE, or he might help his distant cousin and balance the odds if he needs help. I've heard some whispers of maybe something with New Day," Bauer said.
As of now, the WWE haven't advertised The Rock's role for the show.
Bauer will also be participating in this year's WaleMania 2, and has told us there are already plans in order for WaleMania 3. Bauer talked about last year's event and told us to expect more of the same this year and next year.
"It's been fun. Last year we had a meet and greet with Rey Mysterio, then a live podcast, with Konnan. Then Dave Meltzer, then Wale popped out. Next thing you know, Samoa Joe, MVP, Scott Hall Kevin Sullivan are out there. When you see Scott Hall being like 'I gotta get out, this is crazy,' you know you're on to something," Bauer said.
Bauer told us that general admission and VIP tickets are both sold out for WaleMania, but tickets may be available at the door. WaleMania 2 takes place Thursday, March 31, at 7:30 PM local time at Winstons Supperclub. You can find more info at this link.
