Hulk Hogan Trial: Bubba's Wife On Being Filmed Having Sex, Text Messages From Bubba To Hogan, More

The Hulk Hogan-Gawker trial continued this week, with Heather Clem, the former wife of Bubba The Love Sponge testifying in the privacy suit.

Clem was shown in a video deposition recorded in 2015 saying that she and Hogan had sex three times — once in a hotel, once at his home, and once at the home Heather shared with Bubba. She said she didn't know they were being filmed.

This testimony goes against the evidence that Bubba and Heather actively spoke about the film after the acts, and the fact that she also told the Tampa Police Department that she was aware that she was being filmed.

Hogan's attorney Ken Turkel summarized Hogan's issues to the jury, before saying that despite playing a beloved character for 35 years, nobody cared who Terry Bollea is. Before deliberations, Turkel asked the jury if they thought that the media could do whatever they wanted, or if they should be held accountable.

Documents were also released detailing the terms of a settlement reached between Hogan and Bubba, where Bubba was ordered to pay $5,000, and make positive statements regarding Hogan, and not disparage him. In other documents, Gawker stated that Hogan filed the lawsuit against them in an effort to have the now infamous recordings of him using racially-based statements out of the public.

Text message conversations between Bubba and Hogan were also made available.
