Huge Title Change On Tonight's WWE RAW

In what may be an attempt to pop the low ratings, Roman Reigns defeated Sheamus to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion on tonight's RAW from Philadelphia.

Reigns was put into the main event by Vince McMahon with the stipulation that if he lost, he would be fired. The match saw interference from Vince, leading to Reigns hitting him with a Superman punch. Reigns then beat the odds to defeat Sheamus with a spear.

With the exception of the quick title reign he had at the end of Survivor Series, this is Reigns' first run with the WWE World Heavyweight Title.
