Audio: Man Shot At The WWE Performance Center Talks About The Incident, Why He Ran At Police
Yesterday we posted video via WFTV Channel 9 in Orlando of Armando Alejandro Montalvo's odd behavior outside of the WWE Performance Center just before a deputy shot him back on August 31st, which you can watch above.
Montalvo has just spoken with WFTV and said he had no intentions of hurting anyone and that he just wanted to be a pro wrestler, apparently believing that he was on a reality TV show. Montalvo said he ran at the police officers that day because he believed he would be hit with a stun gun, and that would look good for the reality TV cameras.

As noted, Montalvo was shot by an Orange County deputy that thought he had a knife when he tried to get into the Performance Center that day. Montalvo, who has since recovered from the single gunshot, reportedly had an obsession with a female WWE talent and had been banned from the property by an injunction after several other incidents. His trial begins on February 15th and he's facing charges of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and trespassing.
Below is the new audio of him speaking to WFTV and the video from the Performance Center that day:
