Seth Rollins Tears ACL, New Champion To Be Crowned At WWE Survivor Series

It appears as if WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins' injury is the worst case scenario, as Jonathan Coachman reports that he tore his ACL and MCL and will vacate the WWE Championship.

WWE will hold a tournament at Survivor Series to determine a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. We'll provide more details as they arrive.

Coachman stated that Rollins would miss between 6-9 months, effectively ruling him out for WrestleMania in 2016. This comes at a bad time for the WWE, as Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan are both injured, and John Cena is taking time off.

Rollins injured himself last night in Dublin while performing a sunset flip powerbomb on Kane during a live event. Rollins went on to finish the match, even landing another powerbomb on Kane through a table.
