Jesse Ventura On Ronda Rousey Vs. Floyd Mayweather, If Donald Trump Will Win Nomination, Politics

Recently on Talk Is Jericho, Chris Jericho interviewed former Governor of Minnesota and professional wrestler, Jesse Ventura. On the show, Ventura talked about potentially running for President of the United States of America in 2016. Also, Ventura said that Ronda Rousey could beat Floyd Mayweather in a fight.

On the topic of possibly running for President in 2016, Ventura said he would wait until the field is down to two candidates before making a decision.

"Do you really believe [Donald] Trump is going to get the Republican nomination? I don't. When it comes down to brass tacks, I don't see him getting it. So where do the Trump voters go then? And then on the flip side, on the Democratic side, I don't see Bernie Sanders getting it either. Hilary [Clinton] is going to get it. Where do the Bernie Sanders people go then? Are they just going to be regular old Democrats again and are the Republicans who followed Trump going to just step in line? No! They're going to look for an alternative, aren't they?" Ventura added, "they're opening the door for me to be the President."

Ventura indicated that he would run on one issue alone, and that issue is party politics.

"I would challenge the American people to make history with me by electing the first President since George Washington who does not belong to a political party because I would seek the Libertarian nomination and get it, hopefully, but I would not join them and I would explain that to them."

Also, during the podcast, Ventura stated that he would like to see a fight between Rousey and Mayweather. Ventura claimed that Rousey could defeat Mayweather in a fight and Jericho agreed. According to Ventura, Mayweather fights are boring.

"I think Ronda Rousey could beat Floyd Mayweather. All Floyd does is throw one [punch] and run. He doesn't stand there and slug it out. His fights are horrible. I won't even watch him. I watched him and [Manny] Pacquiao for free down in Mexico. I left! I said, 'this is the worst fight I've ever seen! Worst one!' You know, Rousey would get him and the minute she put that arm bar [on him] Floyd wouldn't have a choice. He would have a choice: are you going to be a man and get your arm broken or are going to submit because if she gets that on you, I don't give a s–t who you are."

In addition to these topics, Ventura talked about some conspiracy theories including John Lennon's assassination and the rigging of electronic electoral balloting. Click here to check out the rest of the show.
