UFC 189 Update: Jose Aldo Out Until October?, Dana White Reacts, Fighters Want Conor McGregor

- We reported earlier that a broken rib to UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo has cast a huge shadow of doubt over his planned UFC 189 with Conor McGregor, which was expected to top 1 million buys on pay-per-view. Now, new details have emerged regarding the situation.

According to MMA Fighting's Guilherme Cruz, Jose Aldo still wants to fight, but if he isn't cleared to fight at UFC 189, he could be sidelined until October. A decision to pull Aldo from the show won't be made until they see doctors Thursday morning.

- Dana White has been very tight lipped about the situation, as have other UFC officials. The UFC President took to Twitter in an effort to calm the nerves of everyone involved. You can see his tweet below.

- Several fighters have stepped up and offered to fight Conor McGregor on short notice, including Frankie Edgar, Urijah Faber, Joseph Duffy and Nate Diaz. Duffy was recently signed by the UFC, and was the last man to defeat Conor McGregor. You can see Edgar and Faber's posts below:
