What Have TNA Talents Been Told About Cancellation Rumors?, TNA Taping Note, Slammiversary
According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, TNA talent have been told that they'll respond to the Impact Wrestling cancellation rumors at the next television tapings. As of now, the next date for tapings is over a month away, set for June 24-28.
TNA still also has a pay-per-view scheduled for June 28, which will be Slammiversary. The company has four full days of Impact Wrestling tapings leading up to the show, with presumably some of the episodes airing after the live pay-per-view.
Last night Billy Corgan noted on Twitter that he'd just finished up two days worth of meetings for TNA and was very excited for the future of the company. This was shortly before rumors of TNA's cancellation by Destination America surfaced.
Thus far Destination America nor parent network Discovery have made a statement on the status of Impact Wrestling or the cancellation reports.
