Holiday Recap: CM Punk Rips WWE And Ryback, Ryback Responds, Nikki Edited, TNA, Wyatt, More

The Thanksgiving holiday weekend is traditionally one of the slower weekends on the site, however with CM Punk breaking his silence on Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling podcast, the last four days have been like a major pay-per-view week. Still, for those of you who were not around over the four-day holiday, here's a bunch of articles to get you caught up.

- Punk really ripped into Ryback on the podcast, detailed here. Ryback issued this photo featuring a bunch of Ryback dolls standing over a broken CM Punk figure on a table. Ryback later posted the following tweets, which have since been deleted:

"For the record if I quit for being fragile and insecure I would make up excuses too. Things didn't go my way for a long time and I kept Going day in and out. Slander is a powerful thing and to state complete made up nonsense for no reason shows his insecurities. I will Continue to bust my ass study matches every chance I get, cut promos when driving and push myself for hours on end even when hurt. Thank you"

- Ryback vs. Kane in a Chairs match was officially announced for WWE TLC.

- Punk comments detailing his problems with WWE's medical staff are here. WWE issued this statement to Yahoo! Sports in regards to Punk's claims:

"WWE takes the health and wellness of its talent very seriously and has a comprehensive Talent Wellness Program that is led by one of the most well-respected physicians in the country, Dr. Joseph Maroon."

Punk's criticisms were mostly leveled at WWE physician Dr. Chris Amaan and not at Dr. Joseph Maroon, although he did rip the fact that the Wellness Policy was recently changed.

- The Road Dogg replied to CM Punk's comments. He admitted that he doesn't know the full story, but that he also blasted the company when he left.

"When I quit and then got release papers, I dogged the company too," he said. "It's what you do when you aren't honest with yourself."

- Punk appeared at an LA Kings game and did a playful segment with their mascot, Bailey, which got physical.

- Bray Wyatt appeared on Steve Austin's podcast last week and talked about former WWE star Waylon Mercy (played by Dan Spivey) influencing his character. He also said that he got his name from a friend growing up named Bray White, and that the "Wyatt" comes from Wyatt Earp. Details are here.

- John Cena will be on ABC's Good Morning America this Friday.

- Photo here of top independent wrestler Uhaa Nation, who is rumored to be on WWE's radar. Uhaa Nation won the Preston City Wrestling event in the UK this past weekend.

- Scott Hall takes to Twitter to let the world know that his son Cody stole $1000 from him. Cody replied:

"I had a series of bad events, all costed me $. Bills came due, and I was short. I put our bills on my dad's card without asking. I f–ked up"
