John Cena Avoids Action At Tonight's Live Event, WWE Looks At New Shield Members, Roman Reigns
- As noted earlier, John Cena suffered an eye injury during a match with Bray Wyatt at last night's WWE live event in Madison, Wisconsin. At tonight's WWE live event in in Rochester, MN, Cena worked a six man tag team match, teaming with The Usos to face The Wyatt Family. Cena did not wrestle at all until the last 30 seconds of the match when the Usos cleared out Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, leaving just Cena and Bray Wyatt in the ring. Cena did a couple of shoulder tackles, a 5 knuckle shuffle and finished with the AA for the win. His eye was visibly swollen shut and he acted mainly as a cheerleader for the Usos.
- WWE.com has an article looking at the top 6 potential replacements for Seth Rollins in The Shield. Daniel Bryan topped the list, followed by John Morrison, Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler, Big E and Adrian Neville.
- Roman Reigns seemed to like a fan suggestion suggesting UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion as a new female member of the Shield. Roman Reigns said that she seemed like a good fit, writing:
"@MidgeBringsIt: The @TheShieldWWE needs a new member. A female. THE female. @RondaRousey , believe in the Shield! She seems like a good fit
