Dana White On Bellator PPV Cancellation, Mayhem - Uriah Hall Scuffle, Velasquez Talks Next Challenge

- Following his destruction of Junior dos Santos, UFC heavyweight champ Cain Velasquez gave his thoughts on his next opponent, Fabricio Werdum.

"I have a lot of respect for him," Velasquez said. "He's a good jiu-jitsu guy and a good stand-up guy. He's a big, strong, tough guy. He's been at the top for a long time. I have lots of respect for him."

Werdum earned the title shot by posting a three-fight win streak that includes victories over Roy Nelson, Mike Russow and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. The UFC heavyweight belt has never been defended more than twice consecutively; having already tied that record, Velasquez has the chance to make history with a win over Werdum.

- It's no secret that there's no love lost between UFC president Dana White and those in charge of rival MMA promotion Bellator. So, it came as no surprise that White was clearly amused when the promotion's plans to host their first pay-per-view fell through when Tito Ortiz (who is also on White's bad side) withdrew from the bout with a neck injury.

Speaking at the UFC Fight Night 30 post-fight press conference, White (transcription courtesy of MMAJunkie) very sarcastically lamented the failed pay-per-view.

"It's unfortunate," he said. "It breaks my heart. Couldn't happen to a better bunch of guys."

The UFC boss also tweeted in regards to the event: "Oh boy KARMA is a B***H :)"

- In another dark chapter to his post-UFC career decline, Jason "Mayhem" Miller instigated a scuffle with The Ultimate Fighter prospect Uriah Hall by firing off a torrent of racial slurs. MMA Interviews posted a video at this link of a portion of the incident to their YouTube channel, where Miller can be heard taunting Hall and Hall can be seen throwing a punch.

After going 0-2 in the UFC and being released from the promotion, Miller's formerly endearingly bizarre behavior took a confusing and seemingly disturbing turn. Aside from a disastrous attempt at promoting a movie he had a small role in, Miller has been arrested four times — with three of the incidents occurring within the same month. Those three incidents were all related to domestic disturbances and in the first he allegedly vandalized a church while naked.
