Vince's Reveal Speculation, WWE On If 'Mania Business Will Top Last Year, WM Music Video

- As noted earlier, Vince McMahon wrote on his Twitter last night that he would provide a "big reveal" on his Twitter this Friday. While I haven't heard anything official, I expect that it will be Vince revealing Donald Trump's Hall of Fame inductor. I also wouldn't be surprised if Vince were to induct Trump.

- NJ.com posted an article yesterday about the business that WrestleMania 29 will bring into the New York – New Jersey area this week. In the story, WWE senior vice president of special events John Saboor said that the event would garner 1.3 million buys, which would beat the 1.2 million buys generated by last year's WrestleMania.

- NJ.com has another article today about investors keeping an eye on the success of this year's WrestleMania at this link. In the article, PAA Research analyst Bradley Safalow doubted this year's WrestleMania would garner more PPV buys than last year's show, and said that the decline in PPV buys is why investors are anxiously awaiting for WWE to launch the network.

"If you go back to 2005, that was the peak for the company. They did 6 million pay-per-view buys that year," said Safalow. "Some of the decline in pay-per-view is a function of ongoing trends in the media space. Some of it has to do with the company's own creative arc in terms of relative popularity."
