Incident With WWE Diva At Airport After Dispute With Former Talent, WWE Responds

Rumors had been floating around today regarding an incident with WWE Diva Milena "Rosa Mendes" Roucka at the San Antonio International Airport. Rumors were swirling in the Twittersphere that the WWE diva had been arrested for intoxication.

An officer from the San Antonio Police Department told Diva-Dirt.com that there was indeed an incident, however Mendes was NOT arrested, and was actually the victim of an assault in Las Vegas prior to flying to San Antonio.

According to the report, a woman called police on Mendes' behalf after she spotted Mendes "visibly upset" in a public bathroom at the San Antonio International Airport. The police took photos of Mendes' injuries before taking her to her hotel in San Antonio.

TMZ reports that Mendes told police that her fiancé Andy Slocum, who wrestled briefly in WWE last year as Jackson Andrews, "hit her several times at their shared residence in Las Vegas," and that "she was afraid [her fiancé] would try and kill her." She also said that the abuse "had been an on-going thing."

The officer told Diva-Dirtthat there was no mention of an alleged arrest for intoxication in the police report. However, TMZ noted that Mendes was under the influence of alcohol when police found her.

A WWE representative told TMZ that the company is "is supportive of Rosa and will provide her with professional assistance."
