TNA Live Event Results From Charleston, SC (7/6) - Aries Vs. Roode, BFG Series
Thanks to WrestlingINC.com reader Nick Osborn for sending in this report for last night's TNA live event in Charleston, SC:
The crowd was around 800-1000. Me and my son met AJ Styles & Jeff Hardy before the show and got their autographs. Both were very friendly. The show started out with Borash pumping up the crowd and giving away free merchandise.
AJ Styles defeated Gunner after a botched Styles Clash. Styles went ahead and finished him with the Pele kick. Decent match. AJ carried it for the most part.
Miss Tessmacher defeated Gail Kim with her finisher. Good knockouts match.
James Storm defeated Kazarian after a Last Call super kick. This was a very good match, one of the best of the night. Kaz got into it with a fan at ringside, which got some decent heat.
Jeff Hardy defeated Daniels after the twist of fate. This was also a really good match. Daniels got a lot of heat and Hardy got the loudest pop of the night. There were a lot of Hardy fans in attendance. This was a BFG series match.
Intermission
Kurt Angle defeated The Pope in a quick 2-3 minute match. I'm guessing Angle was injured and couldn't really do much. Angle won with the ankle lock in another BFG series match. Angle got a huge pop as well.
Main Event: Bobby Roode said his match with Austin Aries tonight would be a non-title match . This was a good back and forth between Aries and Roode. Aries won with the brainbuster. This was an awesome main event and their feud really came across well even at a house show. After the match, Aries took pictures in the ring for $20. There was a pretty long line.
Overall this was a great show. This was my first TNA show and me and my five year old had a blast. They are very fan-friendly and all of the wrestlers really put on a good show for the fans.
