When Brian "Road Dogg" James was the third runner-up for PWI's Comeback Of The Year award, Sting was one of the leaders in the category.
Reflecting on that time, James praised Sting's longevity as a great feat during an episode of "Oh You Didn't Know." "He's a better man than me because I can't do it," he said.
When James' co-host asked if he ever envisioned Sting, who is set to retire in 2024, to keep on wrestling for so long, the Road Dogg admitted his astonishment.
James said, "I damn sure didn't [think that], but I've seen him do some crazy things in his tenure over there [in AEW], so kudos to him, man."
Following his initial retirement in 2016, Sting returned to action in AEW Revolution 2021, joining forces with Darby Allin in Street Fight against Brian Cage and Ricky Starks.
