WWE Stars Who Are Completely Unrecognizable Today
By ROBERT CORNAL
Charlie Haas
A multi-time tag team champ in WWE and ROH, Charlie Haas looked totally different in a 2020 Hannibal TV interview. Citing his divorce for his physical change, Haas seemed gaunt and pale, had lost much of his muscle mass, and shaved his head. However, in the January 13, 2022, episode of “Impact Wrestling,” Haas seemed to be in better physical shape.
Tammy Sytch
Sunny (real name Tammy Sytch) struggled with substance abuse, which led to her release from the WWF and WCW, and in the summer of 2020, she made racially charged comments against Black Lives Matter. Currently, she faces 26 years behind bars for DUI and manslaughter charges if found guilty of killing a 75-year-old man in a vehicular accident.
Adam Rose
The WWE suspended Adam Rose in April 2016 for violating his second Wellness Program, and he would be arrested on May 11 on domestic abuse charges, getting released by the month’s end. Working in the independent circuit, Rose got a buzzcut and bulked up, but he retired from wrestling in 2019 and disappeared from the public eye completely.
EC3
Michael Hutter (ring name EC3) was released during the initial COVID-19 mass release in April 2020, after a string of poorly booked matches. As of 2022, Hutter has adopted the Essential Character persona, shaved his head, grown a goatee, bulked up, donned a black hoodie, and become the figurehead of the Control Your Narrative promotion.
Carlito
Since leaving the WWE in 2010, Carlito has bulked up significantly, thanks to his dedication to the gym and advice from Chris Masters. In 2021, the heir to the Colón wrestling family returned to the Royal Rumble match, and also teamed up with Jeff Hardy in a winning effort against Elias and Jaxson Ryker.
