Biggest Wins That Changed WrestleMania History

Warrior Vs. Hogan
WrestleMania VI featured a winner-take-all match between the WWF Champion Hulk Hogan and the IC champion Ultimate Warrior. The Warrior crushed Hulkster’s might in an almost 25-minute match to unify both titles, and although Warrior would later speak fondly of the match, Hogan attacked Warrior’s drawing power.
Rise of John Cena
Cena spent three years building up a name for himself before he defeated JBL on WrestleMania 21 for the WWE Championship. Although JBL wasn’t the biggest name to face Cena, this match put Cena on the map to become one of the greatest stars the company has ever produced.
Becky’s Two Titles
WM 35’s main event featured Rhonda Rousey, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch squaring off to unify the Raw and Smackdown Women’s titles. The 20-minute match ended when Lynch pinned Rousey and finally had her WrestleMania moment, although the controversial ending of the match left many fans disappointed.
Seth Rollins’ Cash-in
In WrestleMania 31, Seth Rollins cashed in his Money In The Bank Briefcase during the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. Although he seemed to falter, in the end, he secured the gold by curb-stomping Reigns in the biggest heist of the decade.
Kofi’s Big Win
Kofi Kingston’s biggest WWE moment was at WrestleMania 35 when he beat Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship in a 23-minute match. Following his win, Kingston got one of the biggest pops in WM history, and it was one of the times when a “you deserve it” chant was merited.
