Non-Tournament Match: Tom Lawlor vs. Kosei Fujita

Lawlor used the match as an excuse to toss Fujita around the ring. Lawlor hacked away at Fujita's chest in the corner. Fujita tried to fight back but Lawlor continued his assault.

Lawlor locks Fujita in a Gullotine Choke but Fujita fights out. Lawlor comes back with a rear naked choke, putting Fujita to sleep. Lawlor follows up with a Kamigoye to the back of the head (NKOTB) for the pinfall in 3:48.

Winner: Tom Lawlor

Non-Tournament Match: Toru Yano & Ryohei Oiwa vs. TMDK (Jonah & Bad Dude Tito)

Jonah and Yano exchange offense to begin. Tito uses much of the match to showcase his high impact offense against Oiwa. Tito gets cocky and leaves Oiwa open for a big dropkick and a comeback.

Yano tags in and takes Bad Dude Tito on a tour of all the Yano-iest shenanigans. Jonah tags in, Oiwa tags in. Oiwa tries to bring the fight to Jonah but is met with a standing Thesz Press and a Powerbomb. Jonah puts one foot on Oiwa for the pinfall in 6:16.

Winners: TMDK (Jonah & Bad Dude Tito)

Non-Tournament Match: Tama Tonga, David Finlay & Jado vs. House of Torture (EVIL, SHO & Yujiro Takahashi)

Tama starts the match, though it quickly devolves into a brawl. David Finlay tags in and gets some serious momentum behind him, only to then tag in Jado. The referee gets distracted, House of Torture shenanigans ensue, and Yujro pinned Jado via Big Juice IN 6:02.

Winners: House of Torture (EVIL, SHO & Yujiro Takahashi)

Non-Tournament Match: Suzuki-gun (Lance Archer, Zack Sabre Jr., TAKA Michinoku & Taichi) vs. Bullet Club (KENTA, Bad Luck Fale, Juice Robinson & Chase Owens)

Wild brawl to start. Stays a wild brawl outside of various G1 opponents sizing each other up, until Bullet Club finally brings Suzuki-gun down and Juice pinned TAKA with Rock Slide.

Winners: Bullet Club (KENTA, Bad Luck Fale, Juice Robinson & Chase Owens)

Non-Tournament Match: CHAOS (YOSHI-HASHI, Hirooki Goto & Tomohiro Ishii) vs. Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI, Tetsuya Naito & Shingo Takagi)

A much more measured match than the flurries that came before it. Both teams use frequent tags to keep each other off balance. Takagi tries to take on all of CHAOS to moderate success. Naito stretches Goto, getting a feel for his upcoming G1 opponent. Ishii comes in and clears house. BUSHI tries to get some momentum but is drilled into the canvas with a Vertical Drop Brainbuster from Ishii for the win in 9:53.

Winners: CHAOS (YOSHI-HASHI, Hirooki Goto & Tomohiro Ishii)

There is a brief intermission.

C Block: Hiroshi Tanahashi (0) vs. Aaron Henare (0)

Henare does his best to keep Tanahashi from chain wrestling his way to controlling the match. He keeps it slow and strike based, trying to overpower Tanahashi. The strategy works for the most part, but Tanahashi begins to pick away at it with dragon screw leg whips and a somersault senton. Tanahashi hits a series of Twist & Shouts. Tanahashi climbs to the top rope and hits Ace's High. Henare gets his knees up on the High Fly Flow.

Henare fights back with a big spear. Henare locks in a Full Nelson. Tanahashi fades. Henare goes for Streets of Rage but Tanahashi counters. Henare hits a huge strike. Henare hits Streets of Rage for the pinfall in 11:11.

Winner: Aaron Henare (2)

D Block: Will Ospreay (0) vs. El Phantasmo (0)

Phantasmo has an answer for all of Ospreay's offense. A breathless, athletic match. Phantasmo found a way to counter Oscutter with a Springboard Reverse Spanish Fly. Eventually Phantasmo takes Ospreay out with Sudden Death. Phantasmo misses Thunder Kiss '86.

Phantasmo and Ospreay continue to go back and forth. Ospreay even busts out an Orange Crush vertical suplex powerbomb. Phantasmo counters Oscutter with a backslide but Ospreay kicks out and hits a Hidden Blade out of no where for the pinfall in 15:06.

Winner: Will Ospreay (2)

B Block: SANADA (0) vs. Jay White (0)

Jay taunts SANADA to start, only to get completely outwrestled. Jay does his best to keep his distance but SANADA keeps up the fight. SANADA locks White in Skull End but Gedo distracts the referee, leading to Jay getting back some control.

SANADA fights back but Jay counters a Moonsault and the two continue to go back and forth. SANADA gets series of big moves, including a Canadian Cutter and a TKO. SANADA locks in Skull End but Jay rakes the eyes and essentially flips out of the move to hit Bladerunner for the pinfall in 18:07.

Winner: Jay White (2)

A Block: Kazuchika Okada (0) vs. Jeff Cobb (0)

Cobb uses his size and strength advantage to get control of the match early. Try as he might, Okada is unable to put a crack in Cobb's offense at the start. Cobb bullies Okada.

Okada finally chips away at Cobb, taking him to the outside and dropping him on his head. Cobb continues to fight back, no matter how much progress Okada makes. Okada counters Cobb's moves but Cobb comes back with a Rainmaker lariat, though he's unable to capitalize. Cobb goes for a Tombstone but Okada counters with a Tombstone of his own.

Okada gets his fire back and begins to slam Cobb around the ring until finally dropping him with Rainmaker for the pinfall in 21:30.

Winner: Kazuchika Okada (2)
