Final WWE SmackDown Viewership Up, Viewership For AEW PPV Preview & The Rock's Titan Games Premiere
Friday's WWE SmackDown episode, featuring Jeff Hardy vs. Sheamus in the main event, drew an average of 2.044 million viewers on FOX, according to Showbuzz Daily.
This final number is up from the overnight viewership that was released on Saturday morning, which was an average of 2.040 million viewers. This number is also up slightly from last week's final SmackDown viewership of 2.042 million viewers for the post-MITB show.
Friday's SmackDown drew a 0.5 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, a 0.7 rating in the 25-54 demo, and a 0.3 rating in the 18-34 demographic. Last week's episode drew a 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demo, a 0.7 rating in the 25-54 demo, and a 0.4 rating in the 18-34 demographic.
SmackDown ranked #1 in ratings for the key 18-49 demographic on network TV this week. SmackDown also ranked #1 in the 18-34 demo this week, and tied for #1 in the 25-54 demo. SmackDown came in at #8 for the night in viewership on network TV, for the fourth week in a row, behind Blue Bloods, MacGyver, Magnum PI, Dateline Classic, 20/20, Disney Family Sing-a-long, and Celebrity Escape. Blue Bloods topped the night on network TV in viewership this week with 4.463 million viewers.
The AEW Double Or Nothing preview special that aired on Friday night at 10pm ET on TNT drew 344,000 viewers and ranked #51 on the Cable Top 150, with a 0.10 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. To compare, TNT's AEW Revolution preview special that aired back in February drew 383,000 viewers and ranked #61 on the Cable Top 150 with a 0.14 rating in the key demo.
Live PD on A&E topped Friday night on the Cable Top 150 with a 0.52 rating in the 18-49 demographic, bringing in 2.014 million viewers. Tucker Carlson Tonight on FOX News topped the night on cable in viewership with 3.679 million viewers, ranking #8 on the Cable Top 150 with a 0.25 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
In other viewership news, the two-hour season 2 premiere of The Rock's Titan Games on NBC averaged 3.423 million viewers on Monday. The show drew a 0.3 rating in the 18-34 demographic, a 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic, and a 1.05 rating in the 25-54 demographic. To compare, the season 1 premiere averaged 3.25 million viewers and drew a 1.8 rating in the 18-49 key demo.
