WWE NXT Results (4/11): Kairi Sane Vs. Lacey Evans, New Tag Team Arrives, Fallout From TakeOver

Kairi Sane vs. Lacey Evans

Evans using his size advantage early on, but Sane countering everything thus far. Hurricarana, dropkick, cover by Sane, two-count. Evans drops Sane, goes out to the apron and hits a springboard elbow down on her opponent, cover, two. Evans with a big clotheslines, another pin attempt, two. Evans tosses Sane in the corner, forearm, slap to the chest, and Evans stands on Sane, shoving her against the bottom rope, pin, two.

Back from the break, Sane grounded in the corner, Evans with a big bronco buster, pin, two. Sane finally wakes up with some chops to the chest, but Evans with a shoulder breaker to halt that. Evans with a chop to Sane's chest. Tries for another, blocked, forearms to Evans' face and a spear! Ax kick to Evans, running blockbuster, sliding forearm to Evans in the corner. Crowd really popping for Sane. She heads up to the top and hits a flying forearm, cover, two. Sane tries for a leg submission, but Evans powers out of that. Evans tries for a pump-handle slam, Sane with a spinning back fist, heads to the top, flying elbow, 1-2-3.

Winner: Kairi Sane via Pinfall

- Recap of the North American Championship Ladder Match where Adam Cole became the first champion.

- Later tonight, new footage of Roderick Strong joining The Undisputed Era and Shyana Baszler winning the NXT Women's Championship.

- Cathy Kelley talks with all four members of the Undisputed Era after they retained the NXT Tag Titles and Adam Cole winning the North American Championship. Kelley asked a question about Roderick Strong joining the group, but Strong said something to Cole and all four headed off without giving an answer.

- Recap of Authors of Pain debuting on Raw and distancing away from Paul Ellering. Mike Rome spoke with the tag team and asked why they left Paul. They said it's not about Paul, it's about who they just crushed on Raw. Ellering shows up and says he was the one who developed the team and built the plans to win the NXT Tag Titles. He's told his chapter is over.

- Recap of Tommaso Ciampa taking on Johnny Gargano at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans. We see highlights from the match and the insane battle ended with Gargano getting the victory over his former tag team partner and is able to return to NXT.

- Next week: Johnny Gargano will be appearing.

- Highlights from Shayna Baszler winning the NXT Women's Championship from Ember Moon at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans.

- After the match, Baszler talks with Kayla Braxton about how this isn't a band wagon, this is a war wagon and she knows who supported her before she won the title and who didn't. She's asked about Ronda Rousey winning and Baszler says they are just doing what they are always doing. As champion, Baszler says she's here to wrestle.

- Highlights of Ember Moon debuting on Raw to team up with Nia Jax to take on Alexa Bliss and Mickie James, Moon would get the pinfall victory on Bliss.

- After the match, Mike Rome spoke with Ember Moon and Nia Jax after their match. Moon says she's so happy and is ready to start a new chapter on Raw. Rome asks about Moon not being able to get a rematch against Baszler and Moon says she just feels bad about leaving "the monster" with the NXT roster.

- Highlights of NXT Champion Andrade Almas vs. Aleister Black from NXT TakeOver: New Orleans. Black would go on to win the match and become the new NXT Champion.

- Clips shown of No Way Jose debuting on Raw and Peyton Royce / Billie Kay debuting on SmackDown, earlier this week.

- Next Week: Lars Sullivan vs. Killian Dain.

Heavy Machinery vs. Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss

Knight and Sabbatelli starting out, crowd with a "Tino Suck!" chant. All four men already in the ring and swinging away at each other. Knight takes down Moss as Heavy Machinery drop Sabbatelli and do some taunting. Moss attacks Knight from behind as we go to break.

Knight tries for a running crossbody, Moss catches him, fall away slam, cover, two. Sabbatelli tagged in and goes to work on Knight, dropkick, pin, two-count. Another "Tino sucks!" chant. Sabbatelli launches Knight into the corner and brings Moss back in. Knight tries to fight his way back towards his partner, Sabbatelli with a crossbody, Knight with a cover, two-count.

Moss tries to knock Otis off the apron, misses, Tucker tries to get to his partner, but Moss grabs him by the foot to keep him in the middle of the ring. Sabbatelli tagged back in, charges, gets booted in the face and Otis gets the tag! He completely destroys both Moss and Sabbatelli, big splashes in the corner, back body drop to get rid of Moss and focuses in on Sabbatelli.

Otis with the worm and big elbow, pin, and Moss breaks up the pin. Knight back in and double clotheslines by Knight and Moss. All four men down now and out comes War Raiders! Most will know them as War Machine (Hanson and Raymond Rowe). They swing away and destroy everyone in the ring. Hanson is picked up by his partner and tosses into Moss. All four men are down now as Hanson heads up to the top rope, leg drop/slam combo on Sabbatelli as the War Raiders' music hits. Crowd goes wild as we fade to black.
