Road Dogg Explains His Response To Scott Dawson's Now-Deleted Tweet Knocking SmackDown Match
As noted, NXT star Scott Dawson of The Revival was recently asked on Twitter if he would be participating in the six-team tag team turmoil match on SmackDown this past Tuesday night. Dawson replied, "We're the hottest act in tag wrestling. You think we're going to debut in a stupid multi-team gimmick match?! #TheRevival #TopGuys #GTTOAT"
WWE producer Road Dogg responded to Dawson, writing on Twitter:
Keep talking like that and you won't debut at all! #OUDK https://t.co/nG7iXVUBQb

Dawson went on to delete the message and posted a follow-up, noting that his original tweet "was stupid."
Admittedly my last tweet was stupid. I've worked w/ all those teams & have the utmost respect for them. Stupid tweet to try to rile fans.

Road Dogg also explained his response to Dawson, stating that it was a joke and he was just ribbing him as seen below:
@SSJoshGavin @bullyray5150 he was being a heel and I was being a smart a$$, we were both just doing our thing. #RIB #OUDK

@jonmartin_TKO yes they do, soon! It was a joke but y'all look so hard for the negative that you end up finding it. Think!
