WWE Live Event Results From Manila (9/9): Universal Triple Threat, John Cena, Roman Reigns, More

* Cesaro defeated Sheamus with a Sharpshooter. This did not count in their Best of 7 Series. Cesaro got a huge reaction

* Braun Strowman defeated Goldust. Somewhat entertaining but slow paced, Goldust passed out in the bear hug for the win

* Neville defeated Curtis Axel with Red Arrow for a pop

* WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day retained over The Shining Stars and Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson in a Triple Threat. The New Day was really over like Cesaro

* John Cena defeated Big Show. Cena's reaction was mixed, not as clear as Cesaro or The New Day

* WWE Women's Champion Charlotte retained over Sasha Banks in a great match, via roll-up and her hands on the ropes

* Roman Reigns defeated Chris Jericho with a spear. Fun heel promo from Jericho before the match. The match itself was long but really good, many near falls and counters

* WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens retained over Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins in a Triple Threat. Match of the night by far. Sami hit a Helluva Kick on Rollins but Owens hit a pop-up powerbomb on Sami for the win. Great match. After, Sami stopped a beatdown from Owens and hit him with the Helluva. Rollins jumped in and hit a Pedigree, then shook hands with Sami for a big pop
