WWE Superstars Recap: Sin Cara Gets A Victory, Curtis Axel, Jack Swagger Vs. Bo Dallas

The Superstars opening video kicks off the show after the usual WWE signature. Sin Cara makes his entrance with new theme music as Tom Philips and Corey Graves check in on commentary prior to Curtis Axel making his entrance.

Sin Cara vs. Curtis Axel

Sin Cara goes for a roll up, Axel kicks out. Axel kicks and punches Sin Cara, sending him to the mat. Axel sends Sin Cara to the ropes. Sin Cara is eventually able to hit a springboard arm drag on Axel after ducking a clothesline attempt. Sin Cara runs at Axel in the corner, but Axel dumps him over the top rope and onto the ring apron prior to nailing him with a forearm to the face, sending him to ring side. Axel throws Sin Cara back-first into the ring, before rolling him into the ring. Axel stomps Sin Cara several times in the corner before getting him up. Sin Cara kicks Axel and hits the ropes before receiving a drop kick from Axel. Axel locks in a headlock. Sin Cara eventually gets out of it, but Axel elbows him in the face and pins him for a one count. Axel locks in another headlock, prior to slamming Sin Cara to the mat. Axel goes for an elbow off the second turnbuckle, but Sin Cara manages to roll out of the way. Sin Cara hits a springboard cross body on Axel prior to hitting a springboard elbow and clotheslining Axel out of the ring. Sin Cara hits a Suicide Dive on Axel before rolling him back into the ring. Sin Cara then hits a moonsault off the second rope onto Axel prior to pinning him for a two count. Sin Cara runs at Axel in the corner and again is dumped over the top rope to the ring apron. Axel misses a forearm before Sin Cara connects with a kick and ascends the turnbuckle. Sin Cara hits a Senton on Axel and pins him for the win.

Jack Swagger and Bo Dallas make their entrances.

Jack Swagger vs. Bo Dallas

Swagger and Dallas lock up. Dallas locks in a headlock. Swagger pushes Dallas to the ropes before Dallas slides out of the ring. Dallas does the Bo-Train around the ring before getting back inside. Swagger slams Dallas stomach-first to the mat and keeps a waist lock locked in. Swagger slams him to the mat again. Dallas manages to elbow Swagger prior to striking him several times. Swagger nails Dallas with a shoulder block. Swagger goes for the Patriot Lock, Dallas gets to the ropes. Dallas rolls out of the ring and goes for another Bo-Train. Swagger cuts him off with a clothesline at ringside as we head into a commercial break.

Swagger drives his shoulder into Dallas in the corner as we return from the commercial break. Dallas slides out of the ring. Swagger grabs Dallas by the hair, but Dallas pulls Swagger forward, driving him into the rope. Dallas then covers Swagger's face with the ring apron and punches him several times. Dallas then throws Swagger into the barricade at ringside. Dallas gets back in the ring. Swagger gets back in as well, only for Dallas to knee him several times on the mat. Dallas locks in a headlock. Swagger eventually is able to Irish Whip Dallas into the turnbuckles. Dallas falls to be mat. Dallas runs at Swagger in the opposite corner, but Swagger moves out of the way. Swagger clotheslines Dallas twice before hitting a modified slam. Swagger hits another clothesline prior to pinning Dallas for a two count. Swagger goes for the Swagger Bomb, but Dallas gets his feet up. Dallas rolls Swagger up for a two count. Dallas reverses a scoop slam attempt by Swagger into a reverse DDT before pinning him for a two count. Dallas clotheslines Swagger in the corner and attempts the Bo-Dog. Swagger counters and slams him to the mat though. Swagger locks in the Patriot Lock and Dallas taps for the finish.

Winner: Jack Swagger

A recap of the segment with Seth Rollins calling out the Demon King from RAW is shown to close the show, featuring Finn Balor as the Demon King, making an appearance and getting the upperhand on Rollins heading into their match for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam.
