- Alfred Konuwa's latest blog at Forbes looks at WWE adding new titles following the WWE brand extension. He noted that all of the championships "will dilute what it means to be a champion."
"Dolph Ziggler, who has been damaged goods for quite some time now, is currently the No. 1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship," Konuwa wrote. "Mark Henry, who is 45 and on the verge of retirement, just competed for the United States Championship; and WWE's answer is to introduce more titles? This is great news for Heath Slater, but bad news for prestige."
- As noted, UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor recently ripped WWE talent during a UFC 202 conference call. When asked about if he would ever consider joining WWE, McGregor called WWE stars "messed up pussies." He took to Twitter to respond to the backlash that he was receiving, writing:
I didn't mean no disrespect to the @wwe fans. What I meant to say was that I'd slap the head off your entire roster. And twice on Sunday's.
