Dolph Ziggler Cuts Promo On WWE SummerSlam Title Match, Wishes Dean Ambrose The Best Of Luck (Video)
As noted, Dolph Ziggler earned a shot against WWE Champion Dean Ambrose at the August 21st SummerSlam pay-per-view. In the SmackDown Fallout video above, Ziggler talks to Charly Caruso after winning the Six Pack Challenge on SmackDown. He said:
"I'm so excited, I can't believe it. My parents don't believe it. The fans, the WWE Universe, they didn't see it coming. Do you know why they didn't see it coming? For the last two years I haven't been myself. I haven't been my happy self looking to steal the show. I don't even do that anymore. Tonight, I sent a message. SmackDown live, the very first one, we go to SummerSlam. Tonight, I walk out... OK, John Cena, AJ Styles, Bray Wyatt, the new kids who have been making a name for themselves... all of them in the same ring at the same time and somehow I won.
"A broken clock is right twice a day, right? Every once in a while I steal one and when I do, I make the most of it. And this time, it's the biggest one I've ever had. And I promise, no matter who the champion is and in this case it's Dean Ambrose. We faced off and I felt the energy coming off of him and I want to go right now. At SummerSlam there's going to be a lot of marquee big matches and there's going to be one that stands out as the best. Not because of talent, not because of high flying and not because of moves. Because there's a real story of emotion here. This is going to be my moment and the entire world is going to be watching. Dean Ambrose, I wish you the best of luck because I'm not going to need it."
