Ricochet On If He Will Participate In WWE's Global Cruiserweight Series

As noted, there has been a lot of speculation that first-ever Lucha Underground Champion Prince Puma, a.k.a. Ricochet, may be WWE bound. Dave Meltzer noted in The Wrestling Observer that Ricochet has been telling indie promoters that he is not taking any bookings after this June and that while Ricochet will likely end up in WWE, that is not his immediate next move.

Ricochet took to Twitter to squash speculation that he will be participating in WWE's Global Cruiserweight Series, stating that he will be participating in the Super Juniors tournament in Japan, which takes place right around the same time:

Okay, guys listen. I will NOT be in the Global Cruiserweight Tournament.

One reason, I'll be in Japan winning BOSJ. Again.
