Bullet Club (Bad Luck Fale & Yujiro Takahashi) vs. Juice Robinson & Ryusuke Taguchi

Bullet Club jumps their opponents early, but Taguchi gets a hip attack. Juice Robinson comes in and beats down Takahashi, but gets hit with a chair. Fale hits Juice with a Grenade, but Taguchi breaks up the pin. A spear and a Bad Luck Fall do the job though.

Winners: Bullet Club via pinfall (Bad Luck Fall)

Robinson has to be helped out of the ring to the back. Fale flattened him with that Bad Luck Fall.

CHAOS (Kazushi Sakuraba, Toru Yano, & YOSHI-HASHI) vs. Jushin Thunder Liger, Satoshi Kojima & Yuji Nagata

Liger kicks Yano right in the ass, then Yano exposes the turnbuckles and tosses Liger into it. Sakuraba pulls a straight ankle lock on Liger, and tags out to YOSHI HASHI, who drapes Liger across the ropes and dropkicks him. Liger hits a Frankensteiner to make the comeback. Liger also scores with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker before tagging in to Kojima.

Kojima promptly DDTs Sakuraba and chops him dozens of times. HASHI and Kojima go at it until the Koji Cutter lands. Nagata comes in and beats the living hell out of HASHI before booting him in the corner. Sakuraba tries his luck and gets kicked, but YOSHI HASHI clears the ring. HASHI gets a small package for two and then superkicks Nagata, but eats a knee to the head and a backdrop from Nagata for the pin.

Winners: Jushin Thunder Liger, Satoshi Kojima & Yuji Nagata via pinfall (backdrop)

YOSHI HASHI looked fantastic in that match. Really everyone looked pretty good outside of Toru Yano, and that's not really what he's there for.

CHAOS (Tomohiro Ishii & Hirooki Goto) vs. Los Ingobernables de Japan (Bushi & Evil)

Evil and Bushi jump Ishii, but Goto runs in and attacks Evil. Bushi chokes Ishii with a shirt and drops him with a neckbreaker. Ishii recovers and plants Evil with a Saito suplex. Goto is tagged in and he beats the tar out of Evil, tossing him into the gaurd rail hard twice. Finally Evil saves his own life with a Fisherman's Buster.

Goto and Evil clothesline each other three times, with both men ending up on the mat. Ishii gets tagged in and destroys Bushi with a suplex, but Bushi comes back with a missile dropkick for a two count. Evil whips Ishii right into a Codebreaker from Bushi, but it only gets two, and Ishii makes Bushi pay with a lariat. An Ishii powerbomb gets a two count, and Goto rocks Evil with a headbutt. A Ushigoroshi and a sliding lariat gets the win for Ishii and Hirooki Goto.

Winners: CHAOS (Tomohiro Ishii & Hirooki Goto) via pinfall (Ushigoroshi to sliding lariat)

Evil and Goto brawl and have to be pulled apart. Sign me up for these two going at it again.

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship
Ricochet & Matt Sydal (c) vs. Roppongi Vice

Ricochet sends Romero outside and teases diving out, but tags Sydal. Matt Sydal goes for a baseball slide, but gets smacked and baited into a Trent clothesline. Trent also scores with a turnbuckle tornado DDT for a two count. Romero applies a Boston Crab on Sydal, who breaks out and manages to level both members of RPG Vice and tag Ricochet.

Ricochet goes full on action movie mode and destroys RPG Vice before diving onto both of them individually. A springboard lariat on Trent gets a two count. A drop toe hold- kick combo lands for Sydal and Ricochet, but Vice take them out with a sick set of knees and kicks. Romero then gets his clothesline train, but gets caught sleeping. Ricochet with his Northern Lights to vertical suplex combo, but then Romero hits like a standing Sliced Bread that also hurt him.

Sydal catches Trent with a dropkick and Ricochet lands a 450 splash, but Trent kicks out. Trent avoids a shooting star press and gets Sydal with a Dudebuster, which Sydal then kicks out of. Romero and Ricochet go through a series of reversals until Ricochet is turned inside out with a clothesline. Ricochet lands on his feet on a rana attempt but eats two HUGE knees. Romero kills Sydal with a suicide dive and they get Strong Zero for the win!

Winner: Roppongi Vice via pinfall (Strong Zero) to become new IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions

Very interesting that Ricochet took the pinfall with all of the rumors surrounding him.

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship
KUSHIDA (c) vs. Will Ospreay

Ospreay kips up after an arm wringer about ten times. The two go absolutely insane flipping out of each others moves and cartwheeling out of huracanrana attempts until they face off again. Ospreay finally scores a big dropkick to take control, which sets up some big forearm strikes. Ospreay goes for a handspring and gets kicked. KUSHIDA then lands a terrifying somersault senton to the outside, landing on Ospreay's neck.

KUSHIDA goes to work on Ospreay's arm, which pays off, as Ospreay fails on another handspring before landing an enziguri. Ospreay, still hurting, kicks KUSHIDA outside and hits an insane Fosbury Flop. Ospreay does the Rainmaker pose, but KUSHIDA turns it into the Hoverboard Lock. Ospreay gets to the ropes, but gets his arm kicked several times.

Ospreay does some unbelievable aerial moves without using his hands, including a second rope Phoenix Splash for two. KUSHIDA gets a super flying armbar, but Ospreay finally works out of it. Both men trade strikes and KUSHIDA gets the best of it. They start really going at and KUSHIDA clocks him with the Nomo. A running C4 from Ospreay gets a two count, but he's caught going to the top rope. He traps KUSHIDA's head and superkicks him, but gets knees on a corskcrew SSP. KUSHIDA catches Ospreay in an armbar and turns it into a triangle. KUSHIDA switches to a Hoverboard Lock and gets the win!

Winner: KUSHIDA via submission (Hoverboard Lock) to retain the IWGP Jr Heavyweight Championship

A star was made in this match, this was awesome. Jushin Thunder Liger comes out and congratulates KUSHIDA, but challenges him for the title.

NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championships
Bullet Club Elite (Young Bucks & Kenny Omega w/ Cody Hall & Chase Owens) (c) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Michael Elgin & Yoshi Tatsu

Kenny Omega takes a shot at WWE saying people wasted their money last week, and he's going to show them what they should have spent it on. Omega teases a Styles Clash on Tatsu, but it gets stopped. Omega and Nick get suplexed by Big Mike and the crowd loves it. The Elite try to leave but get followed, and Cody Hall attacks. Nick Jackson lands a big flip on the entrance way and Cody Hall gets killed. He lies motionless for minutes.

The Elite put Elgin on a dolly and wheel him around. Omega enziguris Tanahashi, and the Bucks headscissor dropkick Tatsu. The Elite taunt their opponents and land triple dives, with Omega's leg hitting the rail hard. A body board is out for Cody Hall, and that doesn't look good at all. Tanahashi gets worked over by The Elite, and as he goes to make a tag, his partners are taken out with superkicks.

Tatsu still gets a tag an a spinning heel kick on Matt Jackson before attacking his partners. A springboard dropkick on Matt Jackson gets a two count, then Nick accidentally kicks Matt. Big Mike gets his double slam, and Tatsu applies a deathlock variation. Omega sprays all the babyfaces with cold spray, then dances with it. A double enziguri on Tatsu sets up the assisted Swanton, but the pin is broken up. A triple superkick lands and Omega sets up for the Styles Clash, but Elgin and Tanahashi spray him in the face.

Elgin German suplexes both Young Bucks, then stops a Meltzer Driver in midair by powerbombing Nick to the outside of the ring. Deadlift Falcon Arrow gets a two count on Nick, but a Superbomb finally gets the pin.

Winners: Hiroshi Tanahashi, Michael Elgin & Yoshi Tatsu via pinfall (Superbomb) to win the NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Team Championship

Fun match, but the issue regarding Cody Hall is concerning. After the match Omega and Big Mike face off. Oh my.

NEVER Openweight Championship
Katsuyori Shibata (c) vs. Hiroyoshi Tenzan

Shibata takes Tenzan down and applies a figure four before isolating him in the corner and laying in a beating. Shibata tosses the ref aside before kicking Tenzan some more. Tenzan headbutts Shibata and totally seats him. After a few more Tenzan gets a clothesline and a suplex before applying the Anaconda Vice. Tenzan applies a top wristlock, but Shibata takes him down and applies an armbar. Tenzan gets to the ropes, but is welcomed with kicks until he delivers a spinning heel kick of his own.

Shibata powerbombs Tenzan, but maybe 5 seconds later gets headbutted right in the grill. Shibata goes for one of his own, but that was a bad, dumb idea. Tenzan has an Anaconda Vice locked in, but Shibata gets to the ropes. Shibata gets a TTD, then puts Tenzan to sleep and hits the PK for the win.

Winner: Katsuyori Shibata via pinfall (PK) to retain the NEVER Openweight Championship

The Tenzan headbutts and the Shibata TTD are really something to behold. Shibata bows to Tenzan, but boots Nagata in the face! The two face off.

IWGP Tag Team Championship
GBH (Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma) (c) vs. Guerrilas Of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa)

GOD jump Homna, but quickly gets bounced out of the ring. Honma eats guard rail out there and the GOD turn their attention back to Honma. The action goes back to the ring where Makabe is worked over for several minutes before tagging Honma, who misses a headbutt. Honma hiptosses Loa, then Makabe comes in and clotheslines him. Makabe German suplexes Loa for a two count, and can't hit the King Kong Knee Drop.

Honma and Tama are tagged in, with Tama hitting a dropkick and a flapjack for two. He gets caught in a sandwich clothesline, Death Valley Driver and Kokeshi from Honma and Makabe, but still is able to kick out. Tama gets the Tongan Twist on Makabe and Loa scores a spinebuster on Honma, but it's broken up. Everyone ends up down on the ground after a big double clothesline from Togi Makabe. Honma hits Tama with a headbutt, but misses a diving one. GOD hit a G9 on Makabe and a Powerbomb/reverse DDT on Honma for two. They get the Snapshot for the pin right after.

Winners: Guerrilas Of Destiny via pinfall (Snapshot) to become IWGP Tag Team Champions

It's 2016 and the team of Camacho and Hunico individually ended up in championship matches within a week of each other. This wasn't a great match.

IWGP Heavyweight Championship
Okada (c) (w/ Gedo) vs. Tetsuya Naito (w/ Bushi & Evil)

Naito sends Okada from the ring, rolls and lays down, taunting the champ. Okada catches Nairo with a kick, but misses a slingshot senton and gets tripped by Bushi, which allows Naito to gain control. Naito then attacks Gedo while Bushi beats down Okada with a chair. Okada makes it back in at a count of 16. Naito follows up with a sliding dropkick while Okada is in a tree of woe.

Naito applies a head scissors, and works over Okada briefly. Okada comes back with a modified neckbreaker and attempts to recover. Okada turns Naito inside out with a big boot and follows with a turnbuckle dropkick. On the floor Okada sends Naito over the barricade, followed by Evil and Bushi, and a body press for all three of them.

Both men make it back into the ring, where Naito once again gets the advantage, this time with an inverted atomic drop and a neckbreaker. Naito spits on Okada and hits a tornado DDT. Naito and Okada slug it out until Okada drops him and applies Red Ink. The seconds all get into it and Naito kicks Okada in the genitals before locking in the Koji Clutch. Okada almost passes out, as he's in it for a long time, but makes it to the ropes to cause a break.

Naito gets a Frankensteiner, then a hammerlock slam to work on Okada's now injured back. Naito also hits a spinebuster, but Okada fires right back with the reverse neckbreaker. Okada lands three incredibly violent dropkicks, but Naito kicks out. Okada goes to the top rope and gets another big one all the way across the ring, and Naito kicks out again! The flying elbow drop hits and Okada does the Rainmaker pose, but Okada accidentally hits the ref and knocks him out!

Evil and Bushi run in, but Okada handles them and dropkicks Naito. A Tombstone lands, but a masked man comes in and hits a TKO on Okada. It's Sanada! He's wearing a Los Ingobernables shirt! Naito with an enziguri, but Okada with a huge German suplex! Naito reverses the Rainmaker and hits Destino for the win!

Winner: Tetsuya Naito via pinfall (Destino) to become IWGP Heavyweight Champion

Los Ingobernables attack Gedo and Okada after the match. CHAOS come to help Okada and Naito and Ishii have a face off in the ring. Naito tosses the belt in the air and leaves it in the ring!
