Hulk Hogan Talks Lying About His Penis Size And How Many Women He's Been With During Gawker Trial

The Hulk Hogan sex tape trial started off with a bang this week as 'The Hulkster', also known as Terry Bollea, took the witness stand to tell his side of the story in his $100-million lawsuit against online media company, Gawker, for publishing portions of a video of the professional wrestling iconic having sex with Heather Clem, the ex-wife of radio personality Bubba 'The Love Sponge' Clem.

In a case that turns on what is considered 'newsworthy', Gawker argues that Hogan has made his sex life a matter of public concern by discussing his sexual exploits in the media. Hogan counters with the professional wrestling 'kayfabe' argument that he was in character when he made such tawdry comments in the media.

During cross examination on Tuesday, Hogan acknowledged that he embellished the number of women he's been with, as well the size of his penis on Clem's radio show in 2006. Put another way, Hogan testified that the Hulk Hogan character's hypothetical penis is larger than Terry Bollea's actual penis.

"So you were discussing Hulk Hogan's penis?" Gawker attorney Michael Sullivan asked.

"Yeah, because Terry Bollea doesn't have a 10-inch penis," Hogan replied.

Hogan's attempt to draw a distinction between the Hulk Hogan persona and Terry Bollea, the man, continued as he insisted that he had artistic license to bend the truth on his various radio appearances and that dropping his pants on his scripted reality television program, Hogan Knows Best, was not an invasion of his privacy.

Hogan again tried to connect Terry Bollea to the sex tape, claiming that he had "bottomed out" at the time the tape was filmed and he was unsuccessfully attempting to reconcile with his ex-wife, Linda.

When asked why he has not sued other media outlets that have reported on the sex tape or published still shots from the video at issue, Hogan claimed that his problem is with Gawker publishing the video, as it will live on in the internet forever.
