Conor McGregor Makes Fun Of Nate Diaz For Being A Fake Gangster, Diaz Accuses McGregor Of PED Use

UFC 196 looked doomed early Tuesday morning when it was revealed that UFC Lightweight Champion Rafael dos Anjos withdrew from his planned bout against Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor. Enter Nate Diaz, and a huge shot in the arm was given to the card.

About 16 hours after announcing that Nate Diaz would replace dos Anjos, the UFC held a press conference, which ended up being one of the most memorable in combat sports history. For the first time ever, Nate Diaz looked 'gotten to.'

McGregor took aim at Diaz for utilizing his persona while teaching children's jiujitsu classes.

"I like Nick's little bro. How can you not like him? He's like a little cholo gangster from the hood," McGregor said. "But at the same time he coaches kids' jiu-jitsu on a Sunday morning and goes on bike rides with the elderly. He makes gang signs with the right hand and animal balloons with the left hand. Diaz said that the entire UFC was on steroids, including McGregor. The Featherweight Champion was quick to remind Diaz that two of his training partners in Jake Shields and Gilbert Melendez have been suspended in the past due to drug test suspensions.

"Don't be putting my name with steroids, I'm major against that," McGregor said. "Don't put my name with the name of steroids. Your teammate Gil and Jake were caught on steroids. I'm not on no steroids."

Dana White spoke to TMZ about Diaz's comments, saying "The UFC unquestionably has the best drug testing program in all of sports," White said. "All done by the United States Anti-Doping Association."
