Demian Maia may fight until he's 70 years old. That was incredibly impressive. The next three fights should be guano crazy. If it goes past round 1, Jacare should have an advantage.

Yoel Romero (#3) vs. Jacare Souza (#2)
Round 1: Romero is light on his feet, but Souza hunts him down. Romero lands a front kick to the body, and clubs Souza with a spinning back fist that drops him. That was a close fight, but almost nothing happened in that second round, so it could have went either way. Hard to believe Romero would beat Weidman or Rockhold.

UFC Middleweight Championship
Chris Weidman (c) vs. Luke Rockhold (#1)
Round 1: Rockhold swings wildly and Weidman takes his back. Rockhold shakes Weidman off after a minute, and eats some knees to the body. Weidman uses an elbow to set up a takedown. Round 2: Rockhold drops Weidman with a punch, then lands a liver kick. A couple of head kicks and a body kick score for Rockhold. Both men are breathing unusually heavy for round 2. Weidman finds success with a body kick as well. Weidman hurts Rockhold with a body kick, but Luke survives.

Wrestling Inc scores the round 10-9 for Luke Rockhold

Round 3: Weidman opens with body kicks and a beautiful punch combo that leads to Rockhold getting taken down. Rockhold gets up, and it's body kick city from both men again. Weidman goes for a spinning kick and Rockhold looks pretty unhappy with that, and takes Weidman down for the first time in his MMA career. Rockhold gets mount and destroys him with punches and elbows. Wow. That should have been stopped. 10-8 round.

Official Result: Luke Rockhold defeats Chris Weidman via TKO (ground and pound), Round 4, 3:12 to become the new UFC Middleweight Championship

That was a fantastic fight. Chris Weidman is going to be regretting that spin kick for a long time. As weird as it sounds, neither one of those guys looked like they were at their best. Rockhold says he's been battling a staph infection.

It's time for the main event! Conor McGregor! Jose Aldo! Title unification!
