Fedor Makes Return At Rizin, Former WrestleMania Competitor, Former TNA Talent Have Fights, UFC 195
- UFC's Embedded series continues with episode 3 as we lead into UFC 195 this Saturday. The show follows Robbie Lawler, Carlos Condit, Joseph Duffy and Dustin Poirier ahead of their big fights this weekend.
Wrestling Inc will have full, live coverage of UFC 195 this Saturday night. You can watch the full episode of UFC 195 Embedded above.
- Fedor Emelianenko made his highly anticipated return at Day 2 of the Rizin show early this morning, and it was a successful one. Emelianenko overcame the quick jab of the massively overmatched Jaideep Singh on his way to a first round TKO victory, after taking Singh down. I'm told Fedor's next opponent will be announced at a press conference tomorrow.
Former TNA talent King Mo Lawal also had a successful week, dominating Rizin's Heavyweight Grand Prix Tournament. Lawal defeated Jiri Prochazka in the finals after a devastating knockout on his way to his third victory of the week. A tournament of this nature even being completed seems like a minor miracle, due to the possibility of injuries.
WrestleMania 21 competitor Akebono took on former contracted WCW name Bob Sapp in a re-match of the most watched fight in MMA history. The two went to a technical decision in a shoot boxing match, which saw Bob Sapp pick up one of his first real wins in years. Sapp has more or less admitted to throwing fights in places without athletic commissions in past years.
