Exclusive: Major Star To Appear At Lucha Underground Tapings This Weekend?, More

According to a source, Rey Mysterio is close to signing with Lucha Underground, if he hasn't already. It was noted that Mysterio will be appearing at this Saturday's Lucha Underground taping in Los Angeles, while another source noted that there "was a very good chance" that Mysterio would be there. If he does appear, it is unlikely that he will be wrestling as he was at last Saturday's AAA TV taping on a crutch, as seen in the photo below.

Film director Robert Rodriguez, who launched the El Rey Network in 2013, is also expected to be at the taping. He will perform with his band, Chingon, at the show.

Lucha Underground will also have another taping this Sunday in Los Angeles.
