WWE SmackDown Recap (10/15): Dean Ambrose Returns Home, Roman Reigns, New Day, Cesaro, Kevin Owens

Roman Reigns vs. Bo Dallas

Bo Dallas says that the only way Reigns is leaving Hell in a Cell is on a stretcher. Reigns opens with a neckbreaker and a big punch, but Dallas comes back with a clotheslines and several clubbing blows. Reigns lands a lariat, an Bo Dallas wants a time out and tries to shake Roman's hand. He kicks Reigns and gets Samoan Dropped. Superman punch, spear. The end.

Winner: Roman Reigns via pinfall (Spear)

Reigns says that Bray Wyatt is pure evil, and he's going to take Wyatt to hell. Wyatt pops up on-screen and says he's going to deliver a prophecy.

Cesaro & Neville vs. Sheamus & King Barrett

Cosmic Wasteland is at ringside with a 'Stardust section' sign. The heels are sent outside almost immediately, and Cesaro launches Neville out of the ring onto both of them as we go to a commercial break.

We come back to see Barrett booting Neville in the grill, which leads to he and Sheamus working over Neville in their corner. Sheamus lands a nice suplex slam, and tags Barrett back in. Neville fights back and makes the hot tag to Cesaro, who uppercuts the hell out of Sheamus.

Barrett gets an uppercut too, and Cesaro goes back after Sheamus. Barrett runs in and hits a Bull Hammer on Sheamus, allowing the heels to get the victory.

Winners: Sheamus & King Barrett via pinfall (Bull Hammer)

- Summer Rae is interviewed backstage by Renee Young. She said this won't be the last man she sets straight. She says that she's the special ref for Ziggler vs. Rusev tonight, but unlike some people, she can keep her personal and professional life separate.

- Dean Ambrose is shown backstage being asked about not winning the "most unconventional superstar award." He pulls a Slammy, a globe, a magic 8 ball and a watch out of his bag looking for a Payday.

- Ryback is at ringside, probably here to watch Zack Ryder beat up Kevin Owens.

Kevin Owens vs. Zack Ryder

Ryder attacks Owens with forearms, but gets knocked off the second rope by Owens. Ryder misses an enziguri and is caught with a big senton from Owens. Ryder surprises Owens with double knees and a second rope dropkick, but gets clotheslined. Owens mocks Ryback and hits a pop-up powerbomb for the win.

Winner: Kevin Owens via pinfall (pop-up powerbomb)

Ryback hits the ring, but Owens gets out of the ring.

- Natalya is backstage, and Paige apologizes to her. She says she misses Natalya being her friend and mentor.

Special Guest Referee: Summer Rae
Rusev vs. Dolph Ziggler

Rusev puts the boots to Ziggler, then runs and knocks him off the ring apron. He follows up with a running headbutt. Ziggler rolls him up and Summer tries a fast count. Rusev argues with Summer and eats a Dolph dropkick. Ziggler gets catapulted into the post, but Summer uses a really slow count and Ziggler kicks out. Rusev yells at Summer, she smacks him, Ziggler gets the Zig Zag for the win.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler via pinfall (Zig Zag)

Summer Rae tries to pick up Dolph Ziggler, but he says he's not going to be used.

- The Dudley Boyz are backstage with Dean Ambrose. They tell Renee Young they'll become tag champs. Ambrose says Dudleyville reminds him a lot of his hometown, Cincinnati, where they are tonight. This gets a big pop from the crowd.

Prime Time Players vs. Wyatt Family

Strowman immediately drops O'Neil with a clothesline before tagging out to Harper. Harper applies a headlock, but Titus suplexes out and tags Young. Darren Young hits an apron neckbreaker. He punches Strowman, which gets no sold, and walks into a superkick from Harper. He then gets choked out by Strowman.

Winners: Wyatt Family via submission (Arm-Triangle Choke)

- You can look, but you can't touch.

Charlotte (w/ Becky Lynch) vs. Alicia Fox (w/ Bella Twins)

Alicia hits a nice tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on Charlotte to start things out. Charlotte breaks out of a headlock and dropkicks Fox. Flair chops set up a big spear, then the figure 8 for the win.

Winner: Charlotte via submission (Figure 8)

The Bella Army all jump Charlotte, and Paige makes the save. Charlotte and Becky don't look convinced by her sincerity. She apologizes backstage. We get an Undertaker vs. Lesnar hype video, then learn that Natalya was attacked backstage.

- New Day runs down a list of everyone they've beaten up. They call Ambrose "Cincinnati's own filthy street urchin."

New Day vs. Dudley Boyz & Dean Ambrose

The Dudley Boyz double team Kofi with a double flapjack, but D-Von gets post crotched by Big E. The New Day stomp precedes the dropkick. D-Von gets worked over, but tags Ambrose, which makes the crowd go crazy. Ambrose beats the hell out of Woods, then hits a suicide dive on Kofi and a clothesline on Big E.

Ambrose tags Bubba Ray, who hits a scary looking back body drop on Kofi. All hell breaks loose and Dudleyz hit a 3D on Kofi, but Xavier hits them with a trombone to break it up. Xavier's busted open.

Winners: Dudley Boyz & Dean Ambrose via DQ

New Day hit their finish on D-Von and leave everyone laying, including Ambrose in his hometown, as is tradition.
