Ronda Rousey's Next Fight Moved To Huge Stadium Show
A misfortune for the UFC and Robbie Lawler could end up paying off dividends for the company. Ronda Rousey vs. Holly Holm will now headline UFC 193 on November 15.
UFC President Dana White appeared on ESPN late Friday night and broke the news that the Rousey vs. Holm UFC Women's Bantamweight Championship Fight would be moved from January 2 to November 15.

Rousey fights being moved are generally headline makers anyway, but this one in particular has huge implications, as UFC 193 will take place at the 56,000 seat Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. Dana White said the company hopes to break their own attendance record.
"She will break the all-time attendance record for the sport of mixed martial arts," White said on ESPN Friday. "Obviously Ronda Rousey was huge for us down in Brazil, she was well received there, it was just a phenomenal event. It did very well on pay-per-view here in the United States. She's obviously a huge superstar for us and Australia's an important market for us so we're going to bring her out there.
Robbie Lawler was originally set to defend his UFC Welterweight Championship against Carlos Condit on the show, but a thumb injury forced Lawler to withdraw. No update on his return or the severity of the injury has been announced.
