Ronda Rousey Wins ESPY Awards And Burns Floyd Mayweather, Randy Couture - Fedor, UFC Bonuses

- UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey took time out of her training camp for UFC 190 to appear at last night's ESPY awards. By the end of the night, she ended up taking home two awards, Best Fighter, and Best Female Athlete. This is the first time in ESPY history that neither Manny Pacquiao of Floyd Mayweather ended up winning the award. This would obviously mark the first time that an MMA fighter won the award, after over a dozen nominations.

Rousey also took a shot at Mayweather, citing his past with domestic violence. Rousey took another jab at him after the boxer acted like he didn't know who she was during an interview earlier this year.

"I can't help but say that I wonder how Floyd feels about being beat by a woman for once. I'd like to see you pretend to not know who I am now," Rousey said.

- With the recent news of Fedor Emelianenko shopping himself around for a return to MMA, former UFC Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture was asked about a potential return and subsequent fight with the legend.

"Obviously I think it's a fight that in our heyday would have been an amazing fight and a crossover fight for that time," Couture said on SI Now this week. "Whether or not I'd be willing to step out there now at 52 years old and come back out of retirement after four years of working on all the other stuff in my life, I don't know. It would be something I'd really have to think hard about."

- The UFC held their third event in just five days this week, and some of the top performers at UFC Fight Night 71 took home additional money. Alan Jouban and Matt Dwyer took home $50,000 for their "Fight of the Night," while Frank Mir and Tony Ferguson earned the same bonus for "Performance of the Night" honors.
