Ronda Rousey Dedicates Fight To Hero Roddy Piper

UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey will face Bethe Correia on Saturday night at UFC 190 and has dedicated the fight to WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper, one of her heroes who passed away at the age of 61 this week.

Rousey's mentor is "Judo" Gene Lebell, who trained Piper when he was a teenager. Lebell gave Rousey the "Rowdy" nickname years ago but she called Piper personally to ask for permission and he granted it.
