The Hardy Boys And OMEGA Draw Another Sellout Crowd With Mick Foley, Photos From The Event
- Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy's OMEGA Championship Wrestling promotion drew a sellout of more than 1,000 fans on February 28th in Durham, North Carolina for their Night of a Champion show. The event featured The Hardys, Tommy Dreamer, Ethan Carter III, CW Anderson, Doc Gallows and an appearance by Mick Foley.
The main event featured an elimination match to crown the Omega Lives Champion with Matt, Jeff, Anderson, Dreamer, Caprice Coleman and Trevor Lee. OMEGA original Shane "Hurricane" Helms was out of the match due to an injury. The match came down to Matt and Jeff, who won with a swanton. Shane Helms was out of the match due to an injury. Foley's segment featured him being interrupted by local wrestler Mickey Gambino while plugging a local comedy show. Foley ended up taking Gambino down with Mr. Socko.
