WWE Superstars Recap: Fandango Vs. Adam Rose; Divas Tag Action

After WWE Network reminds us that we're still firmly entrenched in the PG Era (Superstars is a PG-rated show, don'tcha know), we fly through the intro packages and head down to ringside for Divas tag action.

Naomi and Emma vs. Cameron and Summer Rae

Emma wants to start against Cameron but Cameron waves her off and calls for Naomi. The strategy backfires as Naomi takes charge and even works her opponent into that "booty shake" thing on the ropes. Cameron turns it around by bouncing Naomi chest-first on the ropes. She tags in Summer who dishes out some punishment and goes for a submission. The crowd chants for Emma as Summer peppers Naomi with blows to the head. Cameron tags back in and Naomi is still on the defensive until she manages to slow Cameron's momentum and tag in Emma.

Emma gets all over the competition and she puts Summer on the ropes briefly for a submission move. After she breaks, she gets a near-fall. Cameron comes in for a double-team and Emma thwarts that effort. Naomi pulls Cameron outside but inside the ring, Summer Rae puts away Emma with a big blow to the jaw and the pinfall.

Result: Summer Rae and Cameron defeat Naomi and Emma via pinfall.

After the bell, WWE re-racks the win by Roman Reigns at the Rumble and they offer a commercial for The Best of Raw 2014 DVD. Then some more stuff from Raw and a recap of the previous meeting between Fandango and Adam Rose. Let's get back to the ring, folks.

Adam Rose vs. Fandango

Fandango enters the ring first with Rosa and then Adam Rose comes out with his entourage. In a comical spot, Rose goes to fall back on his pals off the apron and they all fall down with him, causing him to hit the floor. He beats down a bunch of them for the gaffe. Eventually, Rose makes it back to the ring for the opening bell.

Rose and Fandango charge at each other and Fandango scoops him into a slam. He keeps the upper hand for a bit, putting Rose on the mat with a chop. Rose turns it around and works Fandango over in the corner. Fandango reverses an Irish Whip and puts Fandango down with a body drop. After a short break, Rose gets on top of things again, keeping Fandango on the defensive and down on the mat. Fandango stages a comeback and ultimately finishes Rose with a big leg drop off the top rope.

Result: Fandango defeats Adam Rose via pinfall.

After the match, Rose is interviewed backstage and he calls his entourage a bunch of idiots. Then he calms down and says that they're actually a bunch of lemons.

To close out the show, WWE shows clips from Stone Cold's interview with Triple H and the main event for Raw. That's a wrap!
