Droz Talks Fateful WWE Accident To Jim Ross, Stars At Rally, The Miz Looks Back At His First Show
- Jim Ross has a story on FOX Sports about Darren Drozdov, who wrestled for WWE from 1998-1999. Droz's WWE career was cut short in 1999 after he was paralyzed during a match with D'Lo Brown at a SmackDown taping. Droz told JR that WWE is still supportive of him, and that he has no ill will towards D'Lo.
"I have no hard feelings toward D'Lo because sh-t happens and everyone who gets involved in athletics, including WWE, knows the risks that exist," Droz said. "It was an accident."
Droz, who has regained most of the use of his upper body and arms, also talked about the McMahons taking care of him, harvesting his first deer since the accident, smoking pot in front of his mother and more. It's a great read, you can check it out here.

- Zap2It.com has an interview here with The Miz, who looked back on his time on The Real World.
"[The Miz character] was probably on maybe two episodes of the 22 that we did," The Miz said. "After that episode of 'The Miz' aired, literally I was no longer Mike from The Real World. It was always The Miz. It was the turning point not only for the show, but for my life in general because after The Miz became who he was it allowed me to realize maybe I could do WWE as a career."
