Brock Lesnar Interested In MMA Again, According To UFC President Dana White
UFC President Dana White once again stated during a press conference this afternoon that Brock Lesnar is interested in returning to a career in MMA.
"Brock Lesnar's under contract with the WWE. We have a great relationship with him. He's healthy and he has said that he's interested in fighting again," White stated (props to FOX Sports for the transcription). "We'll see what happens."
FOX Sports noted that Lesnar's current WWE contract expires days after WrestleMania 31.
White has been talking about a potential Lesnar UFC comeback seemingly ever since Lesnar returned to WWE. White even admitted to TMZ this past January that he would love for Lesnar to return to the UFC. He also revealed early last year that Lesnar almost returned to the UFC in 2012 for a superfight with Fedor Emelianenko that would have taken place at Cowboys Stadium in Texas.
"Brock wanted to fight Fedor," White said at a press conference in 2013. "Then [Fedor's] dad died, and he was done... After his dad died and he said he was done or whatever, Brock said, 'I'm done, too.'"
