UFC Rankings Updated, Rockhold - Bisping Conference Call (Audio), UFC Teases News

- We've still got a few days before the event, but Luke Rockhold and Michael Bisping sound ready to tear into each other. The UFC held a conference call on Tuesday to promote UFC Fight Night 55, with both Rockhold and Bisping getting involved.

The two came to verbal blows several times as you can hear in the video above. They will meet next Friday night on UFC Fight Pass from Sydney, Australia.

- Another edition of the official UFC rankings were released following UFC 179 this past weekend. With most of the favorites, or ranked fighters, winning, there was little movement in the divisions.

Jose Aldo, the reigning UFC featherweight champion, remained behind only Jon Jones on the pound-for-pound list. Phil Davis was bumped up at light heavyweight after his win over former title contender Glover Teixeira, while a handful of others moved around.

- The UFC sent out an email to the media on Tuesday, asking that they "Save the date" for a special announcement on Monday, November 17 at a "can't miss event" in Las Vegas.

There was little else given in the release, which added that a formal invitational will follow on November 5. Many rumors immediately started popping up regarding the news, including the potential return of former champion Georges St-Pierre or the reveal of planned uniforms for fighters.
